Refund Policy
Effective Date: October 13, 2026
1. HostEasy's Role
HostEasy acts as an intermediary ticketing platform. The revenue generated from ticket sales belongs to the Event Organizers, not to HostEasy. Therefore, standard refund requests regarding ticket purchases must generally be directed to and approved by the specific Event Organizer.
2. Cancelled or Postponed Events
- Cancellations: If an event is officially cancelled by the Organizer, attendees are entitled to a full refund. HostEasy will work with the Organizer to facilitate the return of funds to the original payment method used during checkout.
- Postponements: If an event is postponed or significantly rescheduled, attendees may request a refund if they cannot attend the new date. These requests must be made within the time frame specified by the Organizer.
3. Organizer-Specific Policies
Outside of official cancellations, Event Organizers set their own refund policies (e.g., "No Refunds," "Refunds up to 7 days before"). Unless stated otherwise by the Organizer on their event page, all ticket sales are considered final. Tickets are non-refundable if you simply change your mind or fail to attend the event.
Note: Platform and payment gateway processing fees may be non-refundable, depending on the payout status of the event at the time of the refund.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact the Event Organizer directly using the contact information provided on the event page. If you are unable to reach the Organizer, you may contact HostEasy support for assistance in mediating the request.
5. Dispute Resolution & Fraud Prevention
If you suspect an event is fraudulent, or if an Organizer fails to deliver an event and refuses to issue a refund, please contact HostEasy Support within three (3) days of the scheduled event date. We will investigate the claim and, if fraudulent activity or gross misrepresentation is confirmed, we reserve the right to initiate a refund process from withheld Organizer payouts.
